As you can tell from the title, today I am collabing with Ariana from Ariana’s Flying Life! We decided to interview each other with some fun and interesting questions, and her answers will be featured here on the Artsy Arrow. You can find my answers to the same questions on on her beautiful blog, Ariana’s Flying Life.
Ariana is an awesome girl who blogs about her faith, hobbies, books, and much more! She is passionate about sharing God’s Love and the Christian Faith through her blog and podcast! You should definitely check her out here!
Now on to the interview! (questions are in bold and Ariana’s answers are in italics.)
When and why did you start blogging?
I started about 2 1/2 years ago and I started blogging because I wanted to bring people together and start a community in God’s truth.
How did you come up with your blog name?
I knew I wanted my name in it. Then I knew it would be about all sorts of things, and so I put them together and I knew “Ariana’s Life” was boring so I added “flying”.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I don’t know, I really don’t. I have lots of pet peeves, when people don’t capitalize “i’ is a big one.
What is your favorite genre of book?
I love drama! I basically like every genre to be honest.
Did you jump into blogging or did you wait and figure out how to do it first?
I jumped into it, I had no idea what I was doing. I’m glad I did it that way though because I think I got to learn a lot quickly and I do well under pressure. :D
What is your favorite picture you’ve ever taken?
You can click here to see my favorite picture, it is the site icon!! (Such an honor, thanks, Maria!)
Would you rather go to the beach or the mountains?
Mountains are so beautiful and so different. They can be big and small(er), they can be mysterious, foggy, and full of trees or practically bare. They are awesome!
If you could have dinner with 4 people, living or dead, who would they be?
That is such a hard question! I would sit with Clara Barton, an amazing nurse, General Robert E. Lee, I believe he was wise and just about amazing, I want to know his thoughts. Paul, from the Bible, he was amazing. And…this is so hard, I think I would pick Johnny Depp, an actor, just because I think he would be very interesting to talk to. I think seeing different people’s perspectives are very important and they are from different time periods and beliefs.
What is your favorite quote?
“Life is not measured by it’s duration, but it’s donation.” ~Corrie Ten Boom
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself married with a college degree and a few published books. I see myself with my friends and family with my small children who are growing up in the Lord and a smile on my face.
Those are some great answers Ariana! I’m so glad I was able to interview you!
